1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OUTPAY INDIA website, and your participation in the OUTPAY INDIA merchant and distributor network, whether as a customer, merchant, distributor, or general visitor. By using this website or availing services at an OUTPAY merchant point, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
2. About OUTPAY INDIA
OUTPAY INDIA is a technology-enabled service and merchant-network platform. OUTPAY INDIA is not a bank and does not accept public deposits. We connect customers with authorised local merchants and support those merchants and our distributor network with technology, training and operational processes. Financial and payment services made available through our network are provided through arrangements with authorised banks, business correspondents, acquiring institutions, payment-system participants and other regulated partners, and are subject to availability, eligibility, applicable transaction limits and regulatory requirements.
3. Eligibility
To use OUTPAY services as a customer, you must be capable of entering into a valid transaction under Indian law. To register as a merchant or distributor, you must meet the eligibility criteria set out on the relevant page of this website and complete our KYC and onboarding process. We may decline any application at our discretion.
4. Nature of Services
Services available through OUTPAY merchant points may include UPI-based cash access, AePS transactions, domestic money transfer, micro-ATM services, recharge and utility payments, BBPS bill payments, and related assisted-digital-services. The exact services available at any given merchant point may vary and are subject to partner-bank approval, technical availability and regulatory limits at any point in time.
5. Merchant & Distributor Participation
Merchants and distributors participate in the OUTPAY network under a separate Merchant Agreement or Distributor Agreement, which sets out onboarding requirements, conduct rules, commission structures and termination terms in detail. These Terms apply in addition to, and do not replace, those agreements.
6. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information during registration and transactions.
- Keep your login credentials, UPI PIN and OTPs confidential — OUTPAY and its merchants will never ask you to share them.
- Use the website and our services only for lawful purposes.
- Verify transaction details before authorising any payment.
7. Fees and Charges
Applicable transaction charges, where any, are displayed at the point of transaction. Merchant and distributor onboarding fees, where applicable, are set out during the onboarding process and in the relevant agreement.
8. Prohibited Activities
- Using the network for any fraudulent, unlawful or unauthorised transaction.
- Attempting to interfere with the security or proper functioning of the website or platform.
- Impersonating OUTPAY INDIA, a merchant, or another user.
- Circumventing KYC, transaction limits or compliance procedures.
9. Intellectual Property
The OUTPAY INDIA name, logo, website content and platform are the property of OUTPAY INDIA and may not be copied, reproduced or used without prior written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
OUTPAY INDIA facilitates access to services provided in partnership with regulated financial institutions. While we take reasonable care in operating our platform and network, we are not liable for delays, failures or losses arising from causes outside our reasonable control, including partner-bank system downtime, network or connectivity failures, or incorrect information provided by a user.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology or applicable regulations. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the website or our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of OUTPAY INDIA's services are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over our registered place of business.
