1. Purpose of This Page
Across this website, we make statements about our network's scale, about merchant earning potential, and about distributor commission and investment. Rather than repeat the full context every time, each of those statements links back here — the single, authoritative source for what those figures mean and don't mean. If anything elsewhere on this website appears to conflict with this page, this page governs.
2. Not a Bank
OUTPAY INDIA is a technology and service-network platform. OUTPAY INDIA is not a bank and does not accept public deposits. We do not hold customer money, issue accounts, or operate under a banking licence. Our role is to connect customers with authorised local merchants and to support merchants and distributors with technology, training and operational processes.
3. Services Through Regulated Partners
All financial and payment services made available through the OUTPAY network — including cash withdrawal, AePS, domestic money transfer, micro-ATM services, and BBPS bill payments — are provided through arrangements with authorised banks, business correspondents, acquiring institutions, payment-system participants, or other regulated partners. These services are subject to availability, eligibility, applicable transaction limits, and regulatory requirements set by those partners and by applicable law, and may change without prior notice to reflect those requirements.
4. Market Vision & Expansion Figures
Our website refers to expansion targets — such as 36 state and regional territories, 400 district distributors, 1,000 pincode distributors, and 2,000 initial merchants, as part of a long-term, pan-India expansion plan. These figures represent business expansion targets, not our current network size, and not a guaranteed outcome. Actual expansion depends on merchant activation, partner approval, operating conditions, and market factors, and may proceed faster or slower than these targets in any given territory or period.
5. Merchant Earning Potential
We describe becoming an OUTPAY merchant as an opportunity for additional earning potential, alongside increased customer footfall and business growth. Any earning example, range or potential referenced on this website or during onboarding is an indicative estimate only. Actual merchant earnings depend on your transaction volume, local customer demand, the services active on your account, and your own operating hours and cash availability — none of which OUTPAY INDIA can guarantee.
6. Distributor Income & Investment
This is the disclaimer referenced on our Distributor Opportunities page and in the Distributor Agreement. All investment, commission and income illustrations shared with prospective or active distributors are indicative business projections only. Actual results depend on merchant activation, transaction volume, partner approval, operating costs, territory performance, and market conditions. OUTPAY INDIA does not guarantee income, returns or profitability to any distributor, regardless of distributor type (State, District or Pincode) or territory.
7. No Guarantee of Returns
Nothing on this website, in any onboarding conversation, or in any agreement with OUTPAY INDIA should be understood as a promise or guarantee of income, returns, profitability, or transaction volume, for a merchant, a distributor, or any other party. Anyone representing OUTPAY services with a guaranteed-return promise is not authorised to do so on our behalf, and such a promise should not be relied upon.
8. Regulatory Compliance
OUTPAY INDIA operates its merchant network in accordance with applicable Indian law and the operating requirements of our partner banks and payment-system participants, including KYC, transaction-limit and audit requirements. We cooperate fully with compliance reviews initiated by our partners or by regulators, and we require the same cooperation from our merchants and distributors under their respective agreements.
